Introducing our newest teacher to join our teaching faculty for 2020, Miss Tegan Jeffery Rushton.
Tegan is a dancer, teacher and creative based in Sydney, Australia. She grew up in Queensland studying all styles of dance from a young age. Since moving to Sydney at 16, she has trained extensively, graduating from full-time dance programs at Ettingshausens & Brent street, and through mentorship programs such as The Dream Dance Company’s ‘Show Business’, Jillian Meyer’s ‘Q&A’ in Tokyo, Japan, Galen Hooks Method intensive, Crystal Pite/ Kidd Pivot intensive (STRUT Dance). As a performer her credits include Guy Sebastian, The Veronicas, Red Foo, Reebok, Mazda, Toyota, Avon Australia, A-Live’s ‘Music in Motion’, The Dream Dance Company’s ‘Show Business’ program, Jillian Meyer’s ‘Questions & Answers’ in Japan, One Dance Collective and many more. At 22, Tegan is passionate and mature in her creative endeavours and teaching, which she does extensively for studios in Sydney, Canberra and Queensland. Her work is unique and her knowledge of movement through the diverse training she has had is vast and always appreciated, and is why she is sought out for both her solo/group choreography and class teaching. Tegan’s work ethic and versatility has allowed her the opportunity to assist many well-known choreographers both in Australia and Internationally. Some of these include Sarah Boulter on Dancing with the Stars & Victorian Dance Festival, Jillian Meyer’s at Arena Dance Convention in Los Angeles and Lucy Doherty & Rob McLean for interstate workshops, submissions and rehearsal processes. Introducing our newest teacher to join our teaching faculty for 2020, Miss Sophia.
Sophia Kaloudis from Sydney, Australia is 20 years of age and has been dancing since she was just 3 years old. She has trained in many genres of dance, some of which include ballet, pointe, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, tap, hip hop, acrobatics, and tango. Sophia has completed 4 years of full time ballet training and has achieved her diploma of dance. In 2015 she trained full time at Joffrey Ballet School in New York City where she had the chance to perform in two of the most famous classical ballets ever created, Swan Lake and The Nutcracker. She has also trained in the pre-professional programs at both Queensland Ballet, and Melbourne City Ballet. In 2018, she was offered her first contract with Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line on Majesty of the Seas as a dancer/performer. In 2019, she was then offered her second contract with the company sailing onboard Radiance of the Seas as a dancer/performer, dance teacher and choreographer ending on January 2020. Karlie began dancing at the age of 4. Completing all Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet exams from Pre-Primary right through to her Majors. Her love for all styles of dance stayed with her throughout her schooling years, she studied Dance for her HSC, of which she then got accepted into the Australian College of Physical Education to complete a Bachelor of Dance and Physical education degree and furthermore went on to complete her Masters Degree in Teaching.
Karlie teaches Dance and PDHPE within the Catholic Education system, where her love for teaching shows, particularly in her extra curricular efforts when working with her students on building teams to compete at the Bring It On and PDSSSC competitions. Most recently, Karlie went through training for a new program that Static Dance Studios is introducing, Ready Set Dance & Acrobatic Arts! and believes this is a great introductory syllabus for all young dancers and performers.
Her love for Dance has provided her with countless performance opportunities. Some of these being, celebrations for the Sydney Olympic games, Youth Olympics opening ceremonies, Competition performances at the Sydney Opera House and Crown Casino Dance Championships. Having worked, seasonly at the Sydney Opera House for 4 years, Karlie has gained valuable knowledge and a great insight into the performing arts industry, working closely with children, to cultivate their love and passion for the Arts.

Introducing our newest teacher to join our teaching faculty for 2020, Miss Tania Chodasewicz.
Ambassabor and Affliatte for So Danca Tap Shoes; Performer for Junkyard Beats and Creator and Choreographer of Two Soles the Tap Duo.
Tania started dancing at the age of 6. She learnt under the BAL Syllabus then continued to pursue her passion for tap by training under many renown artists including Sarah Reich, Derick Grant, Ted Louis Levy, Roxanne Butterfly, Omar Edwards as well as many other Australian artists.
Tania is a full time dance teacher in Sydney. She is inspired by all her students whether they be children, adults or those with intellectual or physical limitations.
Some of Tania’s greatest achievements include: teaching at Australian Tap Festival in 2019; being part of The Forge Tap Company and performing in the show Alpha; performing for Sydney Musican/ Entertainer Ramos Jakob; performing at The Star Casino for Junkyard Beats. Tania also performed in the crew N.Y.A. Here is performed many different styles including Hip Hop, Burlesque and K-POP. Introducing our newest teacher to join our teaching faculty for 2020, Mr Isaac Clark.
Isaac started dancing at the age of 6 after a childhood fascination with the popular children’s TV show, ‘HI-5’ and the first Barbie animated film, ‘Barbie and the Nutcracker’. At age 11, Isaac met the principal dancer of the Scottish Ballet Company, Tama Barry, who coached him for a full week in his country home of Armidale. Tama proceeded to recommend that Isaac travels to Sydney on a monthly basis to attend classical lessons at one of Sydney’s most acclaimed schools, Ecole Ballet and Dance Theatre.
Thus began his dance journey in Sydney which open the doors to several opportunities. Isaac worked as an extra in Dance Academy the Movie at age 16, modelled for Dance Train Magazine, performed as a principal dancer for the Schools Spectacular and later auditioned for Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year where he would solidify his training and professional development over two years.
In 2019, Isaac accomplished more than he thought possible - modelling for Sydney Dance Company’s merchandise line and the Sofitel Hotel, joining the professional company of SDC as an understudy while working with artistic director Rafael Bonachela, performing as a soloist in a music video for artist ‘Dan Romeo and the Lone Strangers’, choreographing and performing in the corporate event Miss Pole Dance Australia and winning his second award for contemporary choreography from Sharp Short Dance Festival. Ms Carly has been dancing since the early age of 3. She is trained in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Contemporary & Elite Gymnastics. Carly completed her certificate IV in performing arts at Brent Street in 2007, she has been professionally dancing since 2008. In 2010 Carly was honoured to be a top 8 dancer on Australia's 'So You Think You Can Dance'. Some of her other credits include; Megan Trainor, Kylie Minogue, Danni Minogue, Ava Max, Human Nature, Timomatic, Jessica Mauboy, Ricki Lee, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, X factor, Nickelodeon Kids Choice awards, Australia's got talent, next top model, The Logie Awards, Sunrise, Bonds, Fosters, Stafford Brothers/Chris Lilley, Aladdin & His wonderous lamp & many more along the way. In 2013 Carly moved to Los Angeles to further her dance career & training. Since returning to Sydney in 2015 she has been working as a commercial dancer in Sydney, adjudicating, choreographing & teaching around Australia.
